Paleo Chocolate Mousse


img_3946 (1)I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary and successfully completing 30 days of eating Clean. So we decided to do a quick Chocolate mousse. This is probably the healthiest version of the Chocolate Mousse I have ever had in my life.


The recipe is extremely simple and uses very minimal ingredients:


  1. 1 ripe avocado
  2. 1/4 cup unsweetened Cocoa powder
  3. 120 Ml thick Coconut Milk
  4. 3 Tablespoons Honey
  5. 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla essence



  1. Peel the avocado skin and make small chunks of the fruit
  2. In a blender / food processer add all the ingredients and blend them to a smooth mixture.
  3. Scoop the gooey mixture into your desired dessert bowls.
  4. Garnish it with Walnuts/ Almonds and refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours.

  1. I used to make “mousse” out of just cocoa, avocado, sweetener (honey or stevia) and salt. I was shocked at how good it was. Like fancy restaurant good.

    This looks great, can’t wait to try!

    • Malvika , i’m so glad you said that you aren’t a chocolate person…
      Until now…I was really tired of getting the ” What ? you don’t like Chocolate ” reaction πŸ™‚ Now I know it isn’t weird πŸ™‚
